Guidelines for
Supplying Artwork

Macintosh Specs

Accepted Programs:

• Adobe® Illustrator, Mac version 3.3 or higher
• Pagemaker, Mac version 6.5 or higher
• Corel® Draw, Mac version 6.0
  Export file as .ai • Send all support files • Keep colors as spot

Font Information:

Convert text to paths, curves or outlines (vector art). If this is not possible, send in both screen and printer Type 1 fonts used only for the job to be printed. Be sure to list all font names used.

Support Files Information:

Editable EPS and Native Photoshop, EPS, or Tiff files saved as a grayscale created at a minimum of 300 dpi of finished size. We need a copy of every file used in creating the document. DO NOT send in your original!

Windows Specs
(Must be exported or saved as Mac compatible)

Accepted programs:

• Adobe® Illustrator, Windows version 7.0 or higher.
  Save Windows as Adobe Illustrator 6.0 • Convert Text to Outlines
• Corel® Draw, Windows version 7.0 or higher
  Export file as .ai • Send all support files • Keep colors as spot

Font Information:

DO NOT send PC fonts. Convert text to paths, curves or outlines (vector art). Be sure to list all font names used.

Accepted File Storage

Macintosh or PC formatted:

3.5” diskettes
Iomega® ZIP disks, 100 mb/250 mb
Macintosh or PC formatted CD-ROM

Additional Information

If sending your art on a disk, please include the following information:
It is important that you send a hard copy of the artwork and any special instructions. Please send the latest version of disk art and label each color by the exact Pantone®.

Remember: Do not send an original file - make a COPY!
